Ryan and I met our freshman year in high school on the band's trip to Orlando, Florida. From then on we were always a part of each other's lives; friends and then more. Still, it wasn't until almost 8 years later that we started getting close. The day after Christmas 2004 Ryan and I made our relationship official and we've been inseparable ever since. The people who know us best know that we were a long time in the making and it couldn't be a more perfect match!

While vacationing in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Ryan and I were enjoying the sand, the sun, and our best friends. The Thursday of our week long trip was a day I'll never forget. Ryan woke me up early, around 7am. He told me he loved me. I smiled and went back to sleep. This went on for almost an hour; he would wake me up and tell me he loved me and I would roll over attempting to get more sleep. Finally, frustrated, he shook me and said, "Well, do you love me? " I opened my eyes, smiled, and said, "of course I do!" Then he pulled the most perfect ring out from under his pillow and asked me to marry him. It was the perfect proposal, the perfect vacation, and will always be the perfect memory.

I am the daughter of Mark and Melissa Scott currently of Davenport, Iowa. I went to school in Moline, IL through high school and then went off to Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in English Composition in May of 2005. I moved home with Ryan after graduation and got a job as a Security Analyst at TechTeam Global and Ryan and I got our first apartment. After working there for a year and a half I moved on and I am currently a Project Manager for Nerdwerx Development, a web development company in the Quad Cities. In my spare time I love to read, watch Law & Order, and bake (because I know that Ryan will do the dishes :0)
